$215/hour Locum CRNA needed in Harrisburg, PA

Location:, Harrisburg, PA

Schedule:

• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (8-hour day shifts).
• Availability: Candidates must be available for a minimum of 5 days/month, ideally up to 14 days/month.
• Flexibility: Potential to pick up additional shifts, including occasional nights.
• Start Date: February 1, 2025.

Position Type: Hospital-Based Anesthesia Services

Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services for a range of procedures across 20 ORs, including:

• General Surgery
• Thoracic
• Neuro
• Orthopedics
• GI/GU
• High-acuity OB/L&D
• Robotics
• Overflow trauma cases (not a designated trauma center).

• Collaborate in a team-based environment with a mix of CRNAs, anesthesiologists, and anesthesia techs.
• CRNAs will work under medical direction with a concurrency ratio of 3:1 or 4:1.

Facility Highlights:

• Approximately 40-60 cases/day.
• Specialized locations covered:

• 3 L&D ORs
• 2 EP ORs
• 1 GI Lab
• 1 TEE/CV Lab
• 1 MRI Suite
• 2 IR Locations

• Turnover Time: 17-22 minutes (case dependent).

Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CPR required.
• State Licensure: Active Pennsylvania license preferred but not required. Candidates needing to obtain a license will be considered.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred.
• Candidates must reside outside of 40 miles from Harrisburg, PA, as local locum candidates are not eligible.

Compensation:

• Rate: $215/hour (no overtime).
• Travel Allowances:

• Airfare: Economy class with one checked bag.
• Lodging: Up to $150/night.
• Mileage: Reimbursed according to IRS mileage rates.
• Rental Car: Mid-size vehicle; 4-wheel drive approved for winter.
