Locum CRNA Opportunity – Vermont | Summer–Winter 2025

A nationally respected academic medical center in Vermont is seeking a full-time locum CRNA to join its high-performing anesthesiology department starting July 1, 2025, through the end of the year. This is a rare opportunity to step into a Level 1 trauma center with exceptional clinical infrastructure, a collaborative anesthesia care team model, and no call responsibilities.

Assignment Overview:

Dates: July 1 – December 31, 2025

Schedule Options: 4x10s or 3x12–13s | Flexible weekday shifts

Hours: 7:00am–5:00pm or 7:00am–7:00/8:00pm

Call: None

Setting: Teaching hospital serving Vermont & Northern NY

Team Structure: Traditional ACT model (typically 1:2 or 1:3 supervision)

Support: Surgical residents, anesthesia techs, and robust turnover staff

EMR: EPIC (single system for clinic and hospital)

Case Exposure:

Broad, high-volume mix including General, GYN, ENT, Vascular, Robotic, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, GI, IR, EP, Endo, Dental, and MRI cases

Required skills: General, MAC, Regional (Spinals), and Arterial Lines

Approx. 25,000 anesthetics performed annually across 20 ORs and 4 minor procedure rooms

Requirements:

NBCRNA certified

VT license required (must be active at time of submission)

BLS, ACLS, PALS required

Must be able to credential quickly

Phone and/or virtual interview required

Strong preference for CRNAs who thrive in collegial, academic settings
